Hi, I’m Caitlin!
I’m the writer, photographer, and main brain behind Eco Dive Travel Guide. I’m a professional scuba instructor and an amateur conservationist. I began my career in diving over 6 years ago and haven’t looked back. I’ve spent most of my time diving in the warm clear waters of the of Honduras, around a little island called Utila. I’ve also been fortunate enough to have worked as a dive instructor and sailor in the Eastern Caribbean and the Bahamas. I love sharing the wonderful underwater world with my students and divers, and hope to continue inspiring love for the ocean and all its creatures through my teaching and through this site.
I created Eco Dive Travel Guide to encourage divers to think about sustainability in diving, to promote ocean conservation, and to be a resource for those seeking information. I hope you find it useful!
